Vintage Wedding Dress Designs

The best wedding dress designs will always be unique. A bride walking through the forest, barefoot, with her head spread with a crown of roses, must have just the right dress details. As the bohemian-chic and vintage bride becomes more popular, the styles expand. For the barefoot bride, for the lady in lavender, for the romantic in us all. The angel, we believe, is in the details.

Embroidery: An intricately embroidered wedding dress was ideal in the Victorian and Edwardian age. Wedding dress designs since have shied away from this antique design. We, however, have found it again. Vintage couture blended this lovely alternative amethyst with an iconic embroidery. Clean and high at the neck. Made with Victorian and Edwardian elements without the cumbersome corset. Look for seamless embroidery to get this look for yourself.

Vintage style embroidery in Couture dresses by Inga Nataya

Many dresses in the Inga Nataya couture collection are considered to be vintage-inspired styles. Our couture brides adore the antique look and feel of Nataya’s trendy bridal wear. But today, we want to focus on the signature embroidery of the wedding dresses that make the Inga Nataya Couture dresses truly couture!

First of all, we present a wedding dress that is covered with the whimsical yet sophisticated style of French Victorian embroidery. This unique embroidery was taken from the Victorian era and French trend that was used in scalloping elements of wedding dresses in France between the 1880s and 1900s.  Our Sultry Elizabeth Dress is shown in two colors, traditional white and pastel lavender.

The embroidery on the white dress is white in order to complement the main color of the gown. The same thing goes for the lavender dress as well. The purpose of the embroidery is to enhance, not detract, from the beauty of the dress.

Here is another eye-catching, embroidered dress called the River Fairy. You can select this gown in classy white or trendy and alternative lilac. Unlike the previous model, the upper part of the dress is mostly covered with embroidery. Flutter sleeves enhance your feminine shape while the embroidery accentuates your bust line. This works well for those wishing to conceal larger hips.

The Morning Gown, which comes in white as well as beige, has two differing embroidery patterns. The beige variation boasts rather large embroidery to really turn heads. The white dress is a bit more subtle and really quite classy. Center stitches of gorgeous embroidery give the dress a rectangular appeal for a flattering effect.
